This month's story :-

On December 4th 1937, Desperate Dan hit the street between the sheets of the Dandy comic. The roughest toughest cowboy from Cactusville chewed rusty nails, shaved with a blowlamp and lifted cows with one hand. All of this was done on a diet of cow pie.

Now, being more politically correct, he no longer smokes ship-loadeds of tobacco and mad cow didease has seen off his cow pies. However our bronzed hero now strides the streets of Dundee as a tribute to the world's longest running comic.
