Gold Medal Ales are produced monthly
in recognition of some of the 'greats' of history. On December 4th 1937, Desperate Dan hit the street between the sheets of the Dandy comic. The roughest toughest cowboy from Cactusville chewed rusty nails, shaved with a blowlamp and lifted cows with one hand. All of this was done on a diet of cow pie. Now, being more politically correct, he no longer smokes ship-loadeds of tobacco and mad cow didease has seen off his cow pies. However our bronzed hero now strides the streets of Dundee as a tribute to the world's longest running comic. |
